In our first podcast, we are discussing the challenge for social enterprises with a social mission concerning the Circular Economy, Sustainability, Environment and Climate Change.

We explore economic models that shifts the emphasis away from the conventional ‘make-take-dispose’ model towards a more regenerative, restorative, and sustainable model of ‘make-take-remake’. We talk about building a community movement and how to encourage participation from volunteers, the next generation and how corporates and policy have a crucial role in this if social enterprises are to succeed.

Featuring:

Michelle Licciardi, Dublin South City Partnership on behalf of Social Enterprise Dublin

Catherine Cleary & Ashe Conrad Jones, Pocket Forests

Douglas McEllan, Cherry Orchard Community Garden
