The Family Addiction Support Network (FASN) presents The Family Addiction Support Podcast, a series that aims to give voice to the often unheard experiences of families affected by addiction. While addiction is commonly viewed as an individual struggle, this podcast highlights the profound impact it has on parents, partners, and loved ones — and the emotional challenges they face behind closed doors.
Hosted by Cindy Barry, a Support Worker with FASN, the series shares real stories from individuals who have accessed support through the service. Through honest conversations, listeners will hear about the pain, confusion, and isolation that can come with a loved one’s addiction — but also the resilience, understanding, and hope that can grow through connection and support.
Lived experience is at the heart of this podcast, helping to break stigma, build awareness, and remind families that they are not alone.
