World-renowned hockey goalkeeper Ayeisha McFerran is our guest on this episode of the Stories from Foster Care podcast. Ayeisha chats to us about hockey as a source of support through the difficult years after her mother died and she came into the care system. She tells us about the people who supported her in her passion for the game and how she found ways to resource herself to keep going. Today she’s an advocate for children and young people in care and she has powerful messages of encouragement to share with them. This was an inspiring conversation.
