For Organisations – At Near FM we understand that in the community, charity, and voluntary sectors, it’s essential to share your mission, impact, and stories in a way that resonates with both stakeholders and the wider public. A podcast offers a unique and engaging platform to do just that.
Since 2016, we’ve been helping organizations develop and produce podcasts in our state-of-the-art studios. Our approach is simple: we take care of the entire process for you. From helping you develop ideas, managing production and post-production, to getting your podcast out on major platforms like Spotify and Apple via RSS population, we’re with you every step of the way. Plus, your podcast gets additional promotion through Near FM radio, broadening its reach.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with many impactful organizations, both local and national, such as The Wheel, The Irish Foster Care Association (IFCA), The Goethe Institute, and AONTAS, to name a few. Our podcasts are hosted on Nearcast and available on all major platforms.

For individuals – We can offer training for aspiring podcasters. The training will equip you with all you need to know to get producing your own podcast and will give you a platform to host. We encourage content that reinforces our ethos of democratic and accessible creation of media. After participating in training, there is no additional cost for hosting your podcast but all trainees must become members of Near FM at a cost of €8 a month. For all members, our modern well equipped studios are available for use, on a booking basis. We can also offer advice on suitable portable podcast production kits to purchase containing microphone, recorder and headphones. In addition Near FM will promote your podcast on our social media channels at no additional cost.
